A liquid crystal display device is provided to control a viewing angle in vertical and horizontal directions even when the visibility of a front direction is improved by using circular pixel electrodes in n type liquid crystal, by forming a viewing angle control pixel independently from red, green, and blue pixels. A liquid crystal display device has a display picture formed of a group of red, green, and blue pixels controlled to incline liquid crystal molecules by n type liquid crystal. The liquid crystal display device has a viewing angle control pixel(20) controlled in alignment to incline liquid crystal molecules by n type liquid crystal in a vertical direction or a horizontal direction. A control voltage is applied to the viewing angle control pixel through a viewing angle control line, separately from the red, green, and blue pixels.
