An apparatus for guiding cool air discharge of an air conditioner is provided to control discharged cool air in top and bottom directions by installing a discharge direction changing unit inside of a side surface discharge port. An apparatus for guiding cool air discharge of an air conditioner includes a top panel(10b) forming a front panel of a standing type air conditioner. The top panel has a side surface discharge port(100) on both sides of the top panel respectively to discharge cool air. An opening and closing unit(200) and a discharge direction changing unit(300) are installed inside of the side surface discharge port. The opening and closing unit plays a role of preventing foreign substances form invading inside of the air conditioner by opening the side surface discharge port during discharging the cool air and closing the side surface discharge port during stopping an operation of the air conditioner. The discharge direction changing unit is installed inside of the side surface discharge port to control top and bottom directions of the discharged cool air. |
