A method for displaying an image in a portable terminal is provided to set up a desired resolution and direction and to display the image whose resolution and direction are set up in the way wanted by a user. A method for displaying an image in a portable terminal comprises the following several steps. A controller downloads the image to be displayed on a screen(205). The controller displays information on the image on the screen(210). Then, the controller enables a user to select a display direction and a resolution for the downloaded image(215,220). The controller resizes the image according to the display direction and the resolution selected by the user(225). The controller displays the image, resized according to the setup of the user, on the screen(230). |
