An apparatus for driving a cooling fan of construction heavy equipment is provided to improve the fuel efficiency by reducing the fuel consumption of an engine by consuming minimum energy in driving the cooling fan. An apparatus for driving a cooling fan of construction heavy equipment includes an engine(E), variable displacement main pumps(P1,P2), spools(11A,11B), bypass lines(10A,10B), and a flow rate control devices(13A,13B). The variable displacement main pumps are driven by the engine. The spools are installed at a control valve(10) to bypass pressurized air through the bypass lines. A negative control pressure is generated in proportion to a bypass flow rate passing through the bypass lines. The negative control pressure is transmitted to the flow rate control devices installed at the main pumps. A return line returns the pressurized oil to a tank. |
