METHOD FOR PROVIDING USER INTERFACE FOR DATA SERVICE IN BROADCASTING RECEIVER

A method of providing a user interface for data service in a broadcasting receiver is provided to allow a user to easily select a desired data service through the user interface. A list of data services transmitted through a currently tuned broadcasting channel is searched(S230), and the searched data service list is displayed on a display screen(S240). When a user selects one of the data services from the data service list(S250), data corresponding to the selected data service is received and the received data is decoded(S260). The decoded data is displayed on the display screen(S280).
