PLASMA DISPLAY PANEL

A plasma display panel is provided to widen a non-surface area within a limited area of a discharge space and to enhance discharge efficiency by forming an auxiliary barrier rib lower than a barrier rib within the discharge space. A plurality of address electrodes(60) are arranged on a substrate(30). A plurality of barrier ribs(40) are formed on the substrate in order to define a discharge space. An auxiliary barrier rib(50) is positioned within the discharge space. A phosphor layer(70) is coated on the discharge space and the auxiliary barrier rib. The height of the auxiliary barrier rib is equal to or less than a half of the height of the barrier rib.
