A Zigbee device and a data transmission method using the same are provided to shorten a data transmission time and prevent unnecessary power consumption by transmitting data through an optimum transmission path by using a neighbor table. A memory(11) stores a neighbor table. A controller(12) creates the neighbor table by obtaining address information of devices existing within a power range in which ZigBee communication is available in establishing a network, connects a parent device among the devices and connects it to the network, broadcasts the address information to the device, and controls data transmission to a destination device which is included in the neighbor table and to which the data is transmitted. A transmitting/receiving unit(13) performs ZigBee communication under the control of the controller(12). |
