A method for sensing a fish-hook test mode of an ESP(Electronic Stability Program) for a vehicle is provided to exactly detect the fish-hook test mode of the vehicle by using steering angle, vehicle speed, lateral acceleration, and yaw rate generated during performing a fish-hook test. The method for sensing a fish-hook test mode of a vehicle by using steering angle, wheel speed, yaw rate, and lateral acceleration sensors of an ESP comprises the steps of: calculating the steering angular velocity by differentiating a signal detected from the steering angle sensor(S110); accumulating counter parameters of the steering angular velocity by comparing the calculated steering angular velocity with pre-set values(S120,S130,S140); and sensing the fish-hook test mode of the vehicle by using the accumulated counter parameters of the steering angular velocity and signals detected from the steering angle, wheel speed, yaw rate, and lateral acceleration sensors(S150).
