An apparatus for drying sewage sluge comprises a plastic or metal filter cloth, which is propelled over the dry bed, preferably by an electric motor and drive roll, and thus conveys the sludge over the bed and to the discharge point. Specifically, the drying bed comprises a corrugated drainage table, with transverse drainage channels leading into a collector channel; scraper or similar devices may be used for removing sludge adhering to the filter cloth after it has passed the discharge point. The apparatus is especially suitable for small sewage instal lations. |
