DNA CHIP FOR DETECTION OF ESCHERICHIA COLI

A DNA Chip for detection of Escherichia coli is provided to improve the rapidness and accuracy of detection by using a nucleic acid probe derived from 23S rRNA(ribosomal RNA) of Escherichia coli and eliminate influence of antibiotic administration used in a clinical test. The DNA Chip for detection of Escherichia coli comprises oligonucleotides which are nucleotide sequences specific to Escherichia coli from 23S rRNA of Escherichia coli and have the nucleotide sequences of SEQ ID NO:1(GTTAGCGGTAACGCG), SEQ ID NO:2(GTTAGTGGAAGCGTC), SEQ ID NO:3(GTGTTAGTGGAAGCGTCTGG), SEQ ID NO:4(ATGGGGTTAGCGGTAACGCGAAGCT), SEQ ID NO:5(ATGCACATATTGTGA), SEQ ID NO:6(GTGCTGAAGCAACAAATGCC) and SEQ ID NO:7(CGGTGCTGAAGCGACAAATGCCCTG).
