A rotary switch is provided to enhance a manipulation feeling of a user while rotating the rotary switch by forming step threads on an outer periphery of a support member. A disk-type switch member is connected to a variable resistor which is formed on a substrate, and rotates the variable resistor. The substrate and the switch member(6) are mounted on a housing(2). A protrusion unit is formed on one surface of an inner wall of the housing and protruded outwards. A coupling groove is formed at one upper end which is adjacent to the protrusion of the housing. A support member is arranged on one rear surface of the switch member which is connected to the variable resistor. The support member is connected to the coupling groove of the housing. A cover(4) is connected to an upper end of the housing.
