A bi-directional folder type mobile communication terminal is provided to cover an LCD screen of a main body of the mobile terminal by the first and second folders in ordinary times to protect the LCD, and to mount a wide LCD having a size corresponding to an area of the main body. A bi-directional folder type mobile communication terminal includes two folders(121,122), a speaker, and a keypad(140). The two folder(121,122) are hinged to both sides of a main body of the mobile terminal in a longitudinal direction, respectively, so that the two folders(121,122) are folded with respect to the main body or opened from the main body. The speaker is mounted on inner surfaces of the folder parts(121,122). The keypad(140) is mounted on an outer surface of one of the two folder parts(121,122).
