A semiconductor device and a layout method thereof, and an inverter drive and a layout method thereof are provided to improve the drivability and the transition of a signal by adding a scrap line as a common line. A semiconductor device includes a device region layout having a plurality of transistors, a first common line layout(30) made of a conductive layer and formed on the device region, and a second common line layout(100) as a strap line made of a metal conductive layer and formed on the first common line layout. The first common line layout is commonly connected with each output node of the transistors through first contact patterns(32,34). The second common line layout is commonly connected with the first common line layout through second contact patterns(102,104) and at least one third contact pattern(106).
