A spindle cooling apparatus using cutting lubricant is provided to cool a spindle in a low-speed rotation spindle device without a coolant circulation apparatus. A cutting lubricant channel(103) is formed between an inner surface of a spindle housing(10) and an outer surface of a spindle bearing(30) arranged outside a spindle(20). A cutting lubricant supply device includes a cutting lubricant tank(101) for storing a cutting lubricant at a constant temperature; and a pump(102) for supplying the cutting lubricant from the cutting lubricant tank. The supplied cutting lubricant is guided to a cutting lubricant injection port(104) for spraying the cutting lubricant to a workpiece.
