A refrigerator shelf is provided to freely control the size of the shelf in a wide range between front and rear ends of guides according to foodstuff to store and carry out the size control of the shelf easily by elastic elements mounted to the guides, thereby improving storing space utility of a refrigerator. A refrigerator shelf includes a frame coupled with plates(46,48) in parallel, wherein the coupled plates are rotatable. Guides(66) are fixed at both side walls in the frame for fixing the frame, and have longitudinal guide grooves to insert side surfaces of the frame for guiding movement of the frame. The plates are formed with coupling protrusions at an end and coupling grooves at the other end respectively, wherein the coupling protrusions and the coupling grooves are in complementary shape. Elastic elements(72) are mounted between the guides and the frame for generating elastic force to pull a front end of the frame to a rear end of the frame. Each of the elastic elements has a spiral spring(74) mounted to the rear end of the guide and a wire(76) fixed to the spiral spring at an end and fixed to the front end of the frame to partially surround the spiral spring. |
