APPARATUS FOR REMOVING DUST OF COKES QUENCHING TOWER

A dust collecting apparatus of a coke quenching tower is provided to more effectively collect dust contained in steam generated when cooling coke by using a mist eliminator newly installed in the coke quenching tower. A dust collecting apparatus of a coke quenching tower comprises: a water storage tank(20) for storing water supplied from the outside through a water inflow pipe(10); a quenching tower(40) which allows a coke quenching car(45) to enter or exit a lower portion thereof, and has a mist eliminator(50) installed in an upper portion thereof to collect dust generated from the coke quenching car; a dust collecting unit(60) for removing dust collected when supplying cleaning water and dust collecting water from the water storage tank to the mist eliminator respectively; a coke cooling unit(65) for supplying cooling water from the water storage tank to a space of the quenching tower between the mist eliminator and the coke quenching car to quench coke; and a central control part(90) for controlling the dust collecting unit and the coke cooling unit to control supply times and supply quantities of cleaning water, dust collecting water and cooling water respectively.
