A seal strap for a waterproof sheet is provided to prevent the waste of bentonite sheets and to secure waterproofing capacity by keeping an overlap of the bentonite sheets to the minimum width. The seal strap(100) for a waterproof sheet contains an adhesive layer made with butyl rubber based adhesives to have strong adhesive strength, a protective layer attached on the adhesive layer to cover the adhesive layer not to be damaged by external influence, and release paper attached to the exposed surface of the adhesive layer to protect the adhesive layer temporarily. The construction method of a waterproof sheet comprises the steps of: attaching many bentonite sheets to the object of construction continuously to have overlaps(230) of the appointed width with adjacent bentonite sheets and attaching the seal straps along the overlaps after removing the release paper and sealing up an opening end(250) between the bentonite sheet and the bentonite sheet with the adhesive layer. |
