Levers (5) are mounted on a central rotary shaft and at either end of the levers are soft iron pieces (4) which are suitably shaped so that the permanent magnets (1) attached to them pass a relatively static permanent magnet (2) at a given angle relative to the latter. The static magnet is mounted on a rotary chassis and is connected via a rotary axle (10) to a first rod, which in turn is pivotally connected to a second rod having a permanent magnet at one end. The second rod can move via a guide to a location just in front of a switch mounted on the central shaft. Attached to the switch are two soft iron plates and a static permanent magnet is positioned in between them. Rotating the switch will cause the second rod to be pulled or pushed away so that the relatively static magnet will attract or repel on the magnet on the lever.
