摘要 A liquid crystal display device is provided to prevent RGB resin discharged from an ink jet printer to a space defined by a black matrix from being mixed with other adjacent resin by absorbing surplus resin from the ink jet printer, thereby preventing failure of color filter layers. A liquid crystal display device includes an upper substrate formed with color filter layers defined by a black matrix(110), a lower substrate facing the upper substrate with a predetermined distance, and a liquid crystal layer between the upper and lower substrates. The color filter layers are formed in the stripe type with a plurality of lines of RGB resin(200), wherein the lines are connected to each other by unit spaces(120) and the RGB resin discharged from an ink jet printer are exchanged in the unit spaces for quantity equilibrium of the RGB resin. Dummy patterns(130) are formed at both ends of the RGB resin layer lines, which are spaces not discharged with the RGB resin and connected to the unit spaces at edge portions of the lines. The dummy patterns receive excessively discharged RGB resin.
