A method and a system for recognizing the replacement time of filters for a hot water bidet are provided to allow a user to visually confirm the replacement time of the filters, always enable the user to use clean cleaning water by allowing the filters to be replaced according to the consumption amount of water, and reduce unnecessary waste of the filters or prevent the filters from being excessively used by always allowing the filters to filter a constant amount of water. A method for recognizing the replacement time of filters for a hot water bidet by using a system for recognizing the replacement time of filters for a hot water bidet, the system comprising a flow amount-measuring means for measuring flow amount values of water filtered by the filters, a control part for adding up the flow amount values measured through the flow amount-measuring means and comparing the added flow amount value with a critical filtration flow amount of the filters to determine the replacement time of the respective filters, and an LCD panel for displaying filtration flow amounts of the respective filters outputted from the control part, the method comprises counting the operating time of the filters only to recognize the life of the filters, wherein the use time of the filters is recorded in an EEPROM.
