A liquid crystal display device and a method for controlling a view angle thereof, and color filters are provided to reduce the manufacturing cost by controlling a viewing angle without a member for collimating light and without bonding two liquid crystal panels. At least one pixel of a liquid crystal panel includes a sub-pixel as a display device, and a part except the display device among a sub-pixel except at least one display device or the sub-pixel as a display device. Liquid crystal molecules of the part except the display device among a sub-pixel except at least one display device or the sub-pixel as a display device are arranged to perform alignment action different from liquid crystal molecules of the sub-pixel as a display device. In this case, there is provided a liquid crystal molecule control unit for an electric field and the control unit has a rib shape(36).
