A process for press forming a small case is provided to obtain dimensional accuracy and a process for press forming a small case to improve the productivity. In a press forming process that is performed while a metal band(5) is sequentially progressed one step after another within a press forming equipment, a process for press forming a small case comprises: a drawing step(S10) for forming a case by a plurality of continuous molds and press forming equipment; a slit processing step(S20) of processing a plurality of slits on a side face of the case formed in the drawing step; and a cutting step(S30) of processing a plurality of slits on a side face of the case that has not been processed in the slit processing step to separate the case from the metal band, wherein a portion with a wide processing width is first processed in the slit processing step while a remaining portion is processed in the cutting step; and notches with a deep depth are first processed in the slit processing step while a remaining portion is processed in the cutting step in case of the same processing width.
