PATTERNING METHOD AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY DEVICE USING THE SAME

A pattern forming method and a method for manufacturing an LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) by using the pattern forming method are provided to form a pattern at low cost by removing a photoresist pattern without using a photoresist stripper. A pattern material layer(200a) is formed on a substrate(100). A deformation material layer(250a) is formed in a predetermined pattern on the pattern material layer. A predetermined photoresist pattern(300a) is formed on the deformation material layer. A predetermined portion of the pattern material layer is etched by using the photoresist pattern as a mask. The photoresist pattern and the deformation material layer are removed.
