LEVELING AGENT FOR FLOOR POLISH AND AQUEOUS FLOOR POLISH COMPOSITION

Disclosed is a leveling agent for floor polishes which contains an ester compound obtained through reaction between a hydroxycarboxylic acid and at least one glycol ester in which ester compound substantially all of the carboxyl groups are esterified. One or more of hydroxyl groups of the ester compound may be acetylated. Also disclosed is an aqueous floor polish compound containing such an ester compound or/and acetylated ester compound and a water-insoluble polymer.
