A printed paper substitute handkerchief comprising a water-soluble coating layer and a printed layer and capable of replacing paper printed matter such as a letter of invitation, invitation card and New Year's card is provided, which is able to be used as a handkerchief by laundry after the user confirms the contents and prevents remaining of a dye of the printed layer and migration of the dye to the handkerchief. The printed paper substitute handkerchief(10) comprises: a water-soluble coating layer(11) on the surface of a handkerchief; and a printed layer(12) on the surface of the coating layer. The coating layer is obtained by coating a water-soluble coating agent such as Polysol on the surface of the handkerchief. |
