FOREIGN EXCHANGE OFFICE FOR CORRECTION OF CROSS CONNECTION BETWEEN TIP LINE AND RING LINE

A foreign exchange office for cross connection and recovery of tip/ring lines is provided to sense whether the tip/ring lines of a foreign exchange office port are cross-connected, in order to recover the cross connection to normal connection if the tip/ring lines are cross-connected. A tip/ring line sensor(53) compares voltage of a tip line(51) and voltage of a ring line(52) with a preset reference voltage. A tip/ring line decider(54) checks whether the tip line(51) and the ring line(52) are cross-connected by using the compared results. If the tip line(51) and the ring line(52) are cross-connected, a tip/ring line recovery unit(55) recovers the cross connection to normal connection.
