A sub-carrier diversity method on multi-band OFDM(Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing) symbols is provided to reduce a BER(Bit Error Rate) by repeatedly transmitting diverse frequency bands to a receiver side in multiple times. A first frequency band having 50 symmetrical sub-carriers is transmitted. A second frequency band having the same configuration as the first frequency band is transmitted. Then, a third frequency band having the same configuration as the first and second frequency bands is transmitted. Some sub-carriers are cyclic-shifted and are transmitted to a diverse frequency band. Some of the sub-carriers in the second frequency band are shifted and are transmitted to the diverse frequency band. Then, some of the sub-carriers in the third frequency band are shifted and are transmitted to the diverse frequency band. The first frequency band is transmitted again, so that some of the first frequency band are shifted into a different frequency band. Finally, some sub-carriers in the second frequency band are shifted and transmitted.
