A core drill is provided to increase the cutting efficiency and service life of a core drill by increasing productivity, holding strength of a grinding member and preventing the breakage of a shank when cutting a workpiece by manufacturing a cutting tip attached with a grinding member and joining the cutting tip to a shank. The core drill(100) comprises a cylindrical shank(110) connected to a driving device to be rotated, and cutting tips(120) welded to the outer circumferential surface of the cylindrical shank at regular intervals, wherein the cutting tip is attached with a grinding member by a brazing method or an electrodeposition method and provided with one or more slots or through holes to increase cutting efficiency or to cut off the transfer of frictional heat caused between a core drill and a workpiece to the shank and to cool down the cutting tip.
