RESISTIVE SFCL SYSTEM FOR DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM FOR APPLYING PARALLEL WITH LARGE CAPACITY TRANSFORMER

A resistive SFCL system for a distribution system for parallel application with a large transformer is provided to continuously operate the distribution system without damaging the SFCL by parallel-coupling two SFCLs with the distribution system. A resistive SFCL(Superconducting Fault Current Limiter) is connected to a primary or secondary side of a large capacity transformer in series so that a return time of the SFCL and an operation period of an automatic re-closing device of the distribution system are regulated. One circuit breaker(101,103) is connected to one SFCL(102,104) in series to form one set of limiters. Two sets of limiters are provided. One separate circuit breaker(105) is connected to the two sets of limiters in parallel. One of the sets of the limiters is closed, while the other is opened.
