A front wheel brake apparatus of a forklift truck is provided to efficiently improve the braking force of the forklift truck by using a wet multi-plate disc brake apparatus. A front wheel brake apparatus for a forklift truck includes a brake housing(20), an axle(30), a plurality of brake discs(32), a plurality of friction plates(40), a piston(50), and a wheel hub(70). The plurality of brake discs is spline-coupled along the circumference of the axle. The friction plates are disposed between the brake discs. The friction plates can be moved axially along the inner peripheral surface of the brake housing. The piston presses the frictional plates in a direction in which the brake discs and the friction plates are pressed. The wheel hub includes a shaft section(72) spline-coupled to the axle shaft and an engagement plate section(74) engaged with a wheel of the front wheel. The wheel hub connects the axle to the front wheel. |
