Spinning chamber works at reduced pressure. An air intake communicates with it. A comb roller has a number of sawteeth and has its peripheral surface partly exposed to the air intake channel, so that fibrous are swept from its surface by the air streams in the channel towards the spinning chamber. A filter has a filtering surface greater than the entry cross-section of the intake channel, and is instaaaalled in the entry.
