A dozer cylinder protective device of an excavator is provided to increase maintainability and durability of an excavator by coupling a protective cover with a hook by a chain, thereby coupling and separating a protective cover easily. The dozer cylinder protective device of an excavator for protecting a dozer cylinder lifting up and down a dozer blade connected to the rear of a frame by plural links comprises a protective cover(11) formed to make one end connected to the top of the dozer blade to be rotatable and the other end put and supported to the top of a bracket(2) to be movable, a chain(13) fixed to the protective cover and the hook to be separable, and a hook welded to the bracket and provided with an opening to insert and separate a ring of the chain.
