An elevator car inside display for displaying information on emergency according to speech broadcast without requiring input of text data so as to be adapted to emergency. Data receiving means (21) receives speech data broadcast from a broadcast station (1). Speech recognizing means (22) converts the received speech data into text data. Keyword pattern recognition control means (23) extracts a keyword from the text data and then extracts a fixed phrase corresponding to the extracted keyword by referencing a keyword data storage section (24) storing predetermined keywords and a fixed phrase data storage section (25) storing fixed phrases. A display data output control section (27) selects either the extracted fixed phrase or text data and displays it on a message display (3) instated in an elevator car (3). |
