A detent spring for a parking system of an automatic transmission is provided to enhance operational sense by improving properly a shape and an assembling position thereof. A body(110) is formed with a rectangular shape. A roller(120) is inserted into a groove of a detent lever. The roller is installed at one end of the body. A loading unit(130) is formed at the other end of the body in order to be installed at a boss part of the valve body. A long groove(140) is formed from the roller into the body. The detent lever is inserted into the long groove in order to prevent interference with a detent spring in a rotating state thereof.
