A frame monitoring method of a network and a device thereof are provided to supply frames exchanged in an Ethernet switch/router to a monitoring device through simply realized equipment, thereby preventing internal resources of the switch/router from being wasted without influencing performance of a system. A monitoring device(300) monitors frames. An Ethernet switch/router(200) switches or routes the frames. A terminal(100) exchanges the frames with the Ethernet switch/router(200). A frame copy device(400) is connected to the monitoring device(300) through ports corresponding to each port connected with the switch/router(200) and the terminal(100), simultaneously sends the frames received from the switch/router(200) to the terminal(100) and the monitoring device(300), and simultaneously sends the frames received from the terminal(100) to the switch/router(200) and the monitoring device(300).
