<p>The invention is based on taking advantage of two effects of Q10 - the antioxidative one, i.e. the preventive one and the "energizing" one, i.e. the revitalizating and regenerating one. By adding Q10 to cosmetic pharmaceutical preparations, the increase in protection power against UV rays is achieved, as Q10 prevents the formation of free radicals or neutralizes them and at the same time, strengthens body cells to become more resistant to damages from UV rays and regenerate more quickly after eventual damages. Besides, by adding Q10 to preparations for hair, scalp, lips, etc., such as ointments and creams for lips, shampoos, gels, and hair regenerators, which by themselves are not intended for the protection against sunrays, the application value of such products is increased also with regard to the purpose of protection and regeneration after the impact of UV rays, and also improved in general their preventive and regenerative acting against other harmful effects. Q10 is applicable for alleviation or treatment of scalp problems such as dandruff, loss and greasing of hear and baldness. The use of Q10 is characterized in that it is applied as an additive to preparations for protection of exposed body parts against negative effects, preferentially negative effects of the sun or UV rays, wind, cold, heat and chemical substances. The preparations for protection of exposed body parts are characteristic in that they contain Q10 alone or together with other products applied for protection against negative effects.</p> |
