The method involves attaching heat load (5) with temporarily variable heat consumption to the heat circuit (4) of a power generator (1). The heat consumption of the heat load is increased independent from the actual heat requirement at a certain point of time for a certain time interval. A control signal for increasing the heat consumption of the heat load is received in that certain point of time from the power generator through a data transfer equipment (7).
