A horizontality support system of steel plate welded joints is provided to uniformly perform welding operation by accurately maintaining the horizontality relative to joints of the respective steel plates to be welded when welding steel plates at job sites of a shipbuilding industry or plant industry. A horizontality support system(100) of steel plate welded joints comprises: a pair of body frames(10) in which operating holes(14) are perforated to operate the liftable and lowerable rods of the liftable and lowerable frame, a top plate(12) installed above the body frames by several supports(11), a pair of cylinder operating members(15) and a pair of magnetic switches(16) mounted on the top plate, a fixed frame(20) which is installed in a central inner part of the body frames, and which has a pair of guide plates(23) formed at both sides thereof, a pressing cylinder(21) which is installed in the fixed frame, and to which a pressing rod(22) is connected, a liftable and lowerable cylinder(31) installed on an upper portion of the fixed frame, a liftable and lowerable frame(30) installed on an upper front end of the liftable and lowerable cylinder, a pair of liftable and lowerable rods(32) attached to both sides of the liftable and lowerable frame, and magnets(33) mounted on lower front ends of the liftable and lowerable rods and individually connected to the magnetic switches.
