An LCD device is provided to lower a kickback voltage by reducing voltage variation width when a driving voltage changes from a gate-on voltage to a gate-off voltage. An LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) device includes a liquid crystal panel, a timing controller, a voltage generator, and a gate driver. The liquid crystal panel includes plural gate lines. The timing controller outputs a kickback signal(KB) and control signals with a predetermined period. The voltage generator generates a gate-on voltage(VON) of a first level and includes a kickback compensating circuit(200). The gate driver sequentially supplies the gate-on voltage to the gate lines in response to the control signals. The kickback compensating circuit lowers the gate-on voltage to a second level lower than the first level in response to the kickback signal.
