A device and a method for establishing a trusted path between a UI and software are provided to offer a desired service to a user in a mobile terminal by safely executing the software stored in a memory according to the trusted path. A UI device controller(110) requests execution of the software according to key input. A UI controller configuration part(120) provides a software address corresponding to the key input. A request controller(130) receives the software execution request from the UI device controller and receives the software address from the UI controller configuration part. A main memory(162) stores general software and a safe memory(164) stores safe software. A CPU(150) executes the general or safe software according to the software address corresponding to the software executing request received from the request controller. The UI device controller includes a main UI controller(112) receiving the general key input and a dedicated UI controller(114) receiving the dedicated key input according to input of a trust button.
