A backlight apparatus with high brightness is provided to integrally form a prism to a light source member, thereby increasing the light efficiency without a light guide panel. A light source member(11) is formed at a side of a light source member(10) and emits the visible light by high voltage pulse. A reflection plate(21) with a constant inclination angle is formed at a side of a reflection member(20). A display plate(31) of a display member(30) is formed at the front of the reflection member. A display prism(32) is formed at the rear of the display plate and includes plural bending protrusions(33) protruded with an angle of brightness vertically toward the display plate. A flat panel lens with the constant index of refraction is formed at a side of the light source member and firstly reflects the visible light beam emitted from the light source member. |
