A mobile communication terminal for automatically registering unwanted numbers and a registration method therefor are provided to automatically register numbers decided as being unwanted numbers in an unwanted number list of a user's terminal, so as to block call reception for the registered numbers, thereby improving the user's convenience. When a call is received, the current sender's number is compared with an unwanted number list stored in a predetermined DB of a terminal(S201,S202). If the received call refers to a number registered in the list, the call is terminated, and if the number is not registered, call reception is notified(S203,S208,S204). If a user presses an unwanted call button, it is decided whether the number of times the call for the sender's number is rejected is more than the preset number of times(S205,S210-S212). If so, the number is automatically registered in the list, and the call is terminated(S213).
