A simulated moving bed adsorptive separation process which can improve purity and yield of the final product compared with the prior art by using a final product as a secondary flush liquid in the simulated moving bed adsorptive separation process is provided. In a simulated moving bed adsorptive separation process for separating the component from the feed and obtaining a final product principally comprising the separated component by contacting at least one component in a feed including an desorbent with a solid adsorbent such that the component is adsorbed onto the adsorbent using a simulated moving bed adsorptive separation system which comprises at least one adsorption chamber(1) including a plurality of beds(11) comprising an adsorbent-filled grid, a rotary valve(2) for connecting the adsorption chamber, a feed inflow port(22), a raffinate outflow port(23), a desorbent inflow port(24), and an extract outflow port(25) to multiple access lines(21), a raffinate column(3) for separating raffinate discharged through the raffinate outflow port and returning a portion of the raffinate to the adsorption chamber, and an extract column(4) for separating extract discharged through the extract outflow port and returning a portion of the extract to the adsorption chamber, and in which the rotary valve is rotated according to the switching time such that the feed inflow port, the raffinate outflow port, the extract outflow port and the desorbent inflow port are moved to adjacent multiple access lines and connected to the multiple access lines, the simulated moving bed adsorptive separation process is characterized in that the final product is used as a secondary flush liquid of the multiple access lines. The final product is para-xylene.
