An LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to remove a step between a gate link line and a gate line for applying a signal from a driving IC(Integrated Circuit) to a pixel. Plural gate lines(336) and data lines are arrayed on a substrate. The first insulating layer is formed on the gate line. Plural gate link lines(335) is electrically connected with the gate line. Plural data link lines are electrically connected with the data line. The gate link line and data link line are formed on the first insulating layer. Bumps are additionally formed on the gate link line and the data link line. Conduction balls are located at the bumps and electrically connect the input/output terminals of a driving IC with the bumps. The bump is made of transparent conduction materials. The second insulation layer is additionally formed on the first insulation layer and covers the data line. |
