A filter press which effectively performs filtration operation by uniformly applying a pressure to filtering plates, thereby preventing the breakage of the filtering plates due to the generation of a partial pressure and preventing a movement obstacle of the filter fabrics due to twisting of a hydraulic cylinder during transfer of filtering fabrics is provided. In an ordinary filter press for moving a plurality of filtering plates(6) by a hydraulic cylinder to separate filtrate and sludge from an undiluted solution, a filter press with a plurality of hydraulic cylinders comprises 4 to 6 hydraulic cylinders(3) fixed to the filtering plates such that the cylinders are point symmetrical or axial symmetrical to the center of the filtering plates, and the plurality of hydraulic cylinders are driven by a hydraulic pressure distributor such that the hydraulic cylinders apply an equal force to the filtering plates while the hydraulic cylinders are moved at an equal speed.
