The panel has pixel cells with a pixel electrode connected to a thin film transistor (106). A protrusion (135) in each pixel cell overlaps a gate electrode of the thin film transistor to form a parasitic capacitor with the gate electrode, and is connected to the pixel electrode. The protrusion has an area that is determined in accordance with a location of the pixel cell. The size of the parasitic capacitor is largest for the central pixel cell, and becomes smaller as a distance of the pixel cell from the centre increases, where the pixel cells are connected to a gate line (102). An independent claim is also included for a fabricating method of a liquid crystal display panel.
