ORGANIC ELECTRO-LUMINESCENT DISPLAY

An organic electro-luminescent display device is provided to improve the color representation area of the display device by more than 76% by forming a filter layer which absorbs the light with a wavelength between 540 and 630nm. An organic electro-luminescent display device includes first and second electrode layers and at least one light emitting layer(140). The first electrode layer(120) is formed on a substrate. The second electrode layer is arranged to face the first electrode layer. The light emitting layer is applied between the first and second electrode layers. A filter layer(150F), which absorbs a predetermined wavelength, is arranged in an arbitrary direction from the light emitting layer. The filter layer absorbs the light with a wavelength between 540 and 630nm. The filter layer is applied between the first electrode layer and the light emitting layer.
