A remote control system using an embedded type remote terminal device is provided to reduce personnel expenses and a failure rate, and improve user convenience in maintenance. A remote terminal device(100) includes a PLC(Programmable Logic Controller) ladder unit for controlling control targets(46-49), an RTU(Remote Terminal Unit) for collecting/controlling data outputted from the control targets(46-49), data communication units for performing bi-directional data communication, memory units for storing information on data transmission, information related to calculation, and a result of the calculation, a kernel controller for transmitting output signals of the PLC ladder unit and the RTU to a controller or a control command of the controller to the PLC ladder unit and the RTU. The PLC ladder unit and the RTU are implemented with an embedded type on a single board. A server device(22) performs data communication with the remote terminal device(100) and inputs a control command for controlling the control targets(46-49). A monitor(24) displays a state of the control targets(46-49). |
