A manufacturing method of a thin film pattern and a manufacturing method of a flat panel display using the same are provided to form an organic pattern with a step without using a photo process, thereby controlling capacitance of a capacitor. The first thin film pattern(104) is formed on a substrate(102). Thereafter, a master mold(150) is formed and includes the second thin film pattern. Thereafter, the organic material is coated on the master mold having the second thin film pattern. The substrate and the master mold are bonded so that the first thin film pattern and the surface of the substrate are contacted with the organic materials. Thereafter, the organic material is cured and the substrate and the master mold are separated so that the organic thin film pattern(107) with a step is formed on the substrate having the first thin film pattern by the second thin film pattern.
