A slide type mobile communication terminal is provided to easily operate a main body and a slider by adjusting a friction force between a guide member and a sliding member. A slide type mobile communication terminal includes a main body(110), a slider(120), a guide member(130), a sliding member(140), a piezoelectric material(150) and a power source unit. main body(110), a slider(120), a guide member(130), a sliding member(140), and a friction force controller. The slider(120) slides while generating friction on a front surface of the main body(110). The guide member(130) is installed at either the main body(110) or the slider(120). The sliding member is installed at either the main body or the slider and is slidably combined with the guide member. The friction force controller controls the friction force between the guide member and the sliding member. The friction controller includes a piezoelectric material and a power source unit. The piezoelectric material is positioned at a combination part between the guide member and the sliding member. The power source unit supplies power for the piezoelectric material and generates a displacement.
